I grew up a ballerina. If I wasn’t at dance, you could find me spinning and twirling around the kitchen. My background in ballet helped me learn how to angle and position people in flattering ways. In high school, I trained under an incredible photographer and helped pose her clients. After graduating high school, I went on to do an internship over the summer and caught onto my new passion as an artist in photography.
Fast forward a year and a half , while studying at BYU, I met my very own ‘prince charming’. We got married and moved out to Washington D.C. where I attended the Washington D.C. School of Photography. Needless to say, it was definitely God’s hand guiding my life. I learned so much there and had a lot of great exposure shooting political events, lifestyle portraits, fine art, weddings, you name it! I learned so much and attribute much of my success in photography to my experience there.
After graduating photography school and BYU, we settled down in Spring, TX where I have been able to get some roots and let the business grow for ten years. We recently moved to the beautiful Heber Valley and are excited for the photographs to include the majesty of the surrounding mountains here.
We have threeadorable munchkins who keep us very busy and very happy. We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, but are enjoying the ride!
